  This place is in Hoke county NC and it's always hopping everytime I've stopped. It's not the most up to date place but it's clean, the foods always great and the staff super friendly. The concrete is frozen custard with any toppings you like and it is blazing, I highly recommend you have one when you stop in.

  We had high hopes for this local place with such good reviews. We didn't just go once and write a bad review, but gave it the benefit of the doubt and have gone back 3 times since our first bad visit. Our negative experience was with the service. We watched our food be made and then sit out for 15 minutes while there was no one else being helped. Finally we received our meal which was wrong and cold. The staff is not very attentive and are unfriendly. They are a little more concerned with there conversations with one another then the customers. We wanted to give it one more try and tried the frozen custard. We went to the drive window our experience wasn't good there either. They took our order and had us drive around behind the car that was waiting behind us. With just having ordered two concretes we sat for about 20 minutes and the car in front had received not only there food but there custard as well. We pulled up and one of the waitresses opened the window and asked what we wanted. We told her that we had already ordered and saw the two custards just sitting there one the window. We paid and got SOUP! Not only was it terrible to eat, but we weren't even treated like customers, but someone they wanted out of there. We really wanted this place to be as good as the reviews, but having gone back multiple times and not having good service I don't think we will be back.

  If I could give zero stars I would. It took 10 minutes to get waters and over 30 more minutes for 2 burgers. The drive-thru was moving super fast though so basically the interior customers were neglected. Maybe they were understaffed, but either way it was a terrible experience. Also, the ketchup bottle was soooo sticky and visibly dirty. Food was overcooked and barely slapped together.
